The sculpture Karel Aubroeck is an unknown in his own country, Belgium. Nevertheless he is responsible for two of the most famous architectural statues of Flanders: the Yser tower and a monument dedicated to King Albert I. In 1928 he constructs his own classical house on the borders of the Scheldt, which has today been reconstructed and refurbished by the interior architects of Vigilando.
